ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I find joy in painting images that have personal meaning for me — local landmarks, nature, and family memories. Most of my paintings tell a story. I paint in oil for its vibrancy of color, but it does take time. The long process of painting details in oil brings me close to my subjects, making my work a labor of love.
