Our April meeting brings an inspiring demonstration of mandala art presented by Helena Ljoljic. Helena will be presenting geometric designs built with a ruler and compass. She will be demonstrating on paper and presenting other possibilities. Audience participation will be encouraged.
Helena is a self-taught painter with a background in graphic design. Working primarily in acrylic and watercolor, she currently explores abstract and semi-abstract compositions but also creates representational work, including portraits and geometric pieces. Her art is driven by curiosity, emotion, and a deep love of color. Helena's paintings have been exhibited at the Palo Alto Art Center, the Triton Museum of Art, the Pacific Art League, the Mexican Heritage Plaza, and Works/San José.
