ABOUT the artist’s LIFE AND WORK
Sriharsha Annadore is a fine arts photographer with a passion to tell visual stories. His art subjects often include intricate human relationships, social causes, urban human life, fragile ecosystems, wildlife conservation, and anything local to California. He believes photography is a great medium to stir up conversation, include metaphors, juxtapose and show intent in variety, fast and relatable ways.
Sriharsha’s passion in photography started when he was volunteering as a porter for wildlife research scientists in India where he picked up the technical aspects of photography. Through association of various genres of artists he metamorphosed from an engineer to an artist in later years. As a segway from his engineering career, he loves to teach photography art in a whole new way for the young generation. Most of his workshops are camping trips to National parks, wildlife refuges, heritage places and street festivals.
Sriharsha is proud to associate with local art leagues which he calls a constant source of inspiration. Fine Arts League of Cupertino, East Valley Artists and Light Chasers (online) are his base stations. “Accolades I received at various juried shows is a humble recognition that I belong to the art circle and am properly contributing.”, he says.
