Artist’s Statement: Living things are art. My work is a celebration of all things alive,
and their unique inner worlds. I spent my childhood learning about the nature with my biologist parents, and have been forever captivated. I naturally gravitated towards pencil and ink work due to the high levels of contrast and crisp lines and high degree of realism I could achieve with those media, and my work evolved to include abstract patterns of lines and dots and whichflow with the energy of the diverse life on Earth. I hope that observers will experience some of the same childlike wonder for the natural world that inspires me when they view my pieces.
