About the Artist

Michael was born in West Texas and grew up in the rural Umpqua Valley in Oregon.

A graduate from Brigham Young University, Michael has had a career as an illustrator & graphic designer. He has worked with magazines, corporations and major art agencies in Seattle, Salt Lake, and San Francisco Bay Area. Michael has also worked twenty-five years in fine art, pursuing interests in figure drawing, watercolor landscape, portraiture and figurative in oil. His work has received national and regional awards.
